It has a high destructive scaling temperature of above 1000 Degree C thus exhibiting good scaling resistance in both continuous & intermittent service. Carbon Steel Brazo Outlet Fittings offers lower carbon content to improve weldability as nitrogen is added for much higher yield and tensile strength. The high content of chromium and nickel gives these fittings excellent resistance to oxidation as well as high resistance to high temperatures.
Alloy Steel Brazolet is a heat resistant austenitic chromium-nickel steel with superior corrosion resistance compared to other chromium-nickel steels when exposed to many types of corrosive chemicals such as seawater, saline solutions and the like. Super Duplex Steel Brazolet is an economical and practical option for most environments, but it’s not chlorine resistant. When the oxide layer is removed or damaged by abrasion, or when the raw metal surface is exposed by cutting, a new layer forms immediately through reaction between the steel and the troposphere or other bases of oxygen.
